Predicting Divison and Wild Card winners

Last season there was 7 teams with 90 plus wins in the regular season. Normally 97 wins in season
will get you 1st in your division. Last season in the NL Central division, that was good enough for the 2nd wild card. I think it’s safe to say that the NL Central was the toughest division last season with the Cardinals finishing with 100 wins and the Pirates with 98. How different will it be going into the 2016 season with the Cubs picking up Jason Heyward and having a tough pitching rotation? I think the Cubs will be right back where they left off last year with a young talented team and their pitching rotation, I think they could be a tough contender to reach it to the World Series. With a lot of free agent signings so far and still a lot left out there, lets see who finishes on top this up in coming season. Will the Red Sox bounce back from being last in the division with the pick up of David Price and being David Ortiz’s last year? Can the Kansas City Royals continue another good season and defend their title? There’s a lot to look forward to this season, as it gets closer with spring training coming in March.

My predictions would be the Blue Jays on top of the AL East division with a tough battle with the Red Sox and Yankees. Kansas City Royals on top again have the AL Central division with the Detroit Tigers behind them. Houston Astros will win the AL West division, New York Mets winning the NL East but with battling with the Washington Nationals riding on them. The NL Central being a tough division the Cubs could be on top this year with another tight battle with the St. Louis Cardinals and the Pittsburgh Pirates coming close almost similar to last season. The Giants winning the NL West with they’re tough pitching rotation with the Dodgers or Diamondbacks battling with them.  As for the wild card race in the American League (AL) New York Yankees and the LAA Angels and for the National League (NL) St. Cardinals and the Pirates taking the wild card this season not with out a tight battle with the LA Dodgers and Washington Nationals battling for it towards the end of the season. We only can’t wait and see what happens next when the season starts. What’s your thoughts and views on this up in coming season?
